Avoid Peak Travel Season In Japan

Try to avoid the peak seasons, which include Christmas, New Year, and Golden Week. Most airlines also have individual websites for the residents of each country or region, they are flying to. These sites can host some really good deals. If you are in a larger city where there is a large Japanese community, look for the Japanese travel agencies, such as HIS, or HIT Travel. They usually have the lowest airfares, and the most information on travel to Japan. I purchased my first ticket to Japan through HIS. It cost me around $800 CDN. The ticket was about $200 cheaper then any other travel agent. It was during peak season too!

Japanese Tour Packages

Japanese are the masters of tour packages! Tour Packages almost always combine airfare and accommodation at low rates. If you are coming to Japan for the short term then these can be great deals if you are not planning on touring too much. Just so you know not all tour packages have tour guides so you are free to do as you wish!
