Purification Ceremony 5 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
A participant in a purification ceremony at Kanda Myojin Shrine in Tokyo splashes ice-cold water over himself on Saturday. Twenty-eight people, including seven women, ranging in age from 19 to 59 took part in the annual ceremony.

I'd be in for that, just depends on how long I had to do it for and how un-clothed I needed to be. Anything past swimming shorts and thats it, I'm out.

How cold was that day? I'm pretty sure not as cold as here, in Boston (4 F/ -14 C) I'm positive if that ceremony took place in here, it will be banned afterwards.. But I am curious to see it in visuals, anybody has the link to go to?
