Hi everyoneeee. ^_^ I'm Danielle! But, my nickname is Izumi. You may call me whichever name you prefer. =o

I have been taking Japanese for 5 years nowwww, I feel like its been with me all my life!! You would think that I'm super good at Japanese by now but I had 3 years in highschool, so the speed was a bit turtle-ish...so then when I got to college, I was only able to start at Year 2, Semester 1. It was super easy for me, and I really should have started at Year 2, Semester 2, but I was too excited to wait, lol. Plus it helped to give me an easy grade...

Anyway, so right now I'm at Year 3, semester 1, in college Japanese. After that though, there's only one more of Japanese that they'll be offering! And there will only be about 6 students enrolled!! >_<

Also, I have never been to Japan, but trying desperately to get there! My dad doesn't want me to go until I'm much older, but we'll see about that...>_> *crosses arms*

Umm...I love a lot of things about Japan, but my most favorite thing is the language! I am in loveee with the language, hehe. ^-^ I think it sounds beautiful, and it's so easy to pronounce. It is kinda backwards from English but we love a challenge here and there, right!? I also <3 kanji!! I haven't been practicing lately so my writing is probably like at 1st grade level, but I just love how kanji can have meanings attached to them, and I love to write things beautifully. I have very neat handwriting. =)

Anyway, I'm just going on and onnnn, gah, but I find this forum very interesting and I can't wait to talk to everyone on here!!

So anyway, that's me...oh yes, I first became interested in Japan through anime! Go figure...everyone starts off that way, probably!! My favorite anime was Dragonball Z but now it's over and it's very sad!! =( So my new favorite one is probably this really old one called Marmalade Boy. =) But, we can't forget about all the other amazing anime out there, right?

Also, has anyone ever read the book called Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa? It's like the best book EVER! It's a must read. X_X

とにかく、私は１９歳です。大学の二年生です。日本語の三年生です。長い時間に日本語を勉強していましたが、日本へ行ったことがありません。残念ですね。えっと。。。日本語を教えるのが大好きです。毎日、新しいレッソンを作っています。たのしいです。＾＾　まだ日本語で上手じゃないんだけれども、だんだん日本語でがんばっています。これを読んだら、ありがとうございました！
